We formally introduce to you M/s Telesat International (U) Ltd, a Private Limited Company majoring in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Training, Development and Promotion in addition to supplying Industrial Chemicals and appropriate Machinery/ Equipment among others.

Legal Status:

M/s Telesat International was registered by the Registrar of Companies as a private limited company in 2005 under registration number 70971.

Objectives:

1. Developing and promoting cottage industrialization through practical skills training in areas such as; agro-processing and manufacture of locally market demand driven basic commodities such as candles, soaps etc.

Mission:

Leading the transformation from theoretical to an appropriate practical poverty alleviation strategy

An independent entrepreneurially productive society

Areas of Specialization/ Services:

We offer the following services:

a) MSME Project Training: - we offer comprehensive hands-on training services in all the projects on the list hereto attached. The trainings involve theory and practical sessions, some Business Management, Marketing Basics in addition to guidance to source all required materials and machinery/ equipment.

b) Supplying Machinery/ Equipment: - we supply all appropriate MSME Machinery/ Equipment and parts. We supply all small scale processing machines and moulds for making; Candles, School Chalk, all types of Soap, all types of milling machines, packing machines and etc.

c) Project Undertakers: - Telesat is a Turn Key Project undertaker, a complete solution provider with specialization in micro, small and medium scale plants for projects like; Sugar, Mineral water, Natural and Synthetic Juice, Wire Nails, all types of Plastics, Cement, Fruit & Milk Powder and all forms of Agro-processing projects among others. We convert untouched open grounds into productive commissioned plants. We also offer Design Engineering services. All this is done hand in hand with our European and Asian partners.

d) Business & Project Consultants: - Telesat International undertakes Consultancy services. We have tie-ups and association with many well known respected organizations in the field of consultancy. Such research bodies and testing houses are now part of our front team which enables us to offer such professional services satisfactorily.

e) Business Development Services: - We undertake; Project Planning, Concept Paper Writing, Feasibility Studies, Business Diagnostic Checks, Business Plan Writing, Project Report Writing, Capacity Building & Orientation Training, Appropriate Technology Development, Good Manufacturing Practices and Business Management among others.

f) Filming & Cinematography:- Telesat International is fully engaged in the development of the local film industry. As part of the initiative, Telesat trains Screenwriters, Producers, Directors, Actors and other stakeholders in the professionalization of the local film industry to meet internationally acceptable standards. Telesat has trained both independent film makers and member companies under Uganda Federation of Movie Industry.

g) Supplying Industrial Chemicals: - We make/ import and supply some of the critical Industrial Process Chemicals. We have such chemicals as Caustic Soda, Tibro, Sulphonic Acid, Stearic Acid, Emulsifiers, Stabilizers, Mineral/ Essential Oils etc.

h) Soaps & Detergents: - we make all types of soap (Liquid) such as Hand Gel, Glass Cleansers, Antiseptics, Multi- purpose liquid soap etc. In addition, we make all types of Heavy Duty Laundry and Dry Cleaning Detergents. We make and supply on order.

i) Spot/ Stain Removers: we make all types of Spot/ Stain Removers in addition to Bleaches.

Telesat International is proud to be the only practical Cottage Industrial Technology Incubation Center in Uganda.
